E-commerce websites in Fes, Meknes and Ifrane
Selling online from Morocco has its own rules. Some customers pay by card through CMI. Many still want to pay cash on delivery. And every order is worth a quick call before it ships. Our shops are built around all of that, whether you sell across Morocco or abroad.
In short
Tourak Digital Group builds online shops for makers, producers and retailers in Meknes, Fez and Ifrane. The shop takes card payments through CMI, or cash on delivery. Orders are confirmed before they ship, and delivery covers all of Morocco, with Amana for example. It can sell abroad too, including to Moroccans living overseas. What sells from here
Fes makes things people look for from far away. Hand-tanned leather from the medina, babouches, hammered copper, blue pottery, zellige tiles. Around Meknes and across the Saïs there’s olive oil, honey and produce from farming cooperatives. Ifrane and Azrou are known for cedar woodwork and Middle Atlas rugs.
For a Fes workshop, the buyer is often abroad. A tourist who visited last year, a Moroccan living in Europe, an interior designer hunting for tiles. For a clothing shop in Meknes, the buyer lives in Morocco and wants to pay at the door.
So the shop is built around whoever actually orders.
What’s in the shop
- A catalogue with photos, sizes, colours, and stock that updates itself.
- A short checkout.
- Card payments through CMI, connected to your bank’s online payment contract.
- Cash on delivery, still the most requested option in Morocco.
- Shipping rates by city or zone, with Amana, SDTM or the courier you already use.
- A confirmation call or WhatsApp message before each dispatch. That’s what cuts refused parcels.
- An admin area for orders, customers, invoices and discount codes.
- The legal pages (terms of sale, returns, data protection).
How CMI card payment works
CMI, the Centre Monétique Interbancaire, processes card payments in Morocco. You sign an online payment agreement with your bank, and the bank handles the application. We connect the gateway, test it in sandbox mode, and switch it to live once everything goes through.
Moroccan cards and foreign Visa and Mastercard cards use the same page. You get paid in dirhams. For a Fes workshop with customers overseas, this is often what finally opens up sales abroad.
The steps
We start with an inventory. How many products, which variants, which photos you already have. Then your rules: payment methods, delivery zones, shipping costs, returns.
You approve the homepage, a category page and a product page before we go further. We load your catalogue, or show you how to.
Before opening, we place real test orders from start to finish, one by card and one cash on delivery, and check the confirmation emails actually reach both you and the customer. Only then does the shop open, with a short admin training and the site submitted to Google.
Price, timing and the law
The price is set in a free quote. It depends on the number of products, the languages, the payment methods and any links to shipping or invoicing tools. Allow 15 to 30 days from quote approval to opening, plus however long your bank takes with the CMI file.
Distance selling in Morocco falls under consumer law 31-08, which gives buyers seven days to change their mind. Customer data falls under law 09-08, overseen by the CNDP. We set up your pages with this in mind. Your own legal adviser should still read your terms.
Just want to show your products, no checkout? A business website costs less.
Getting visitors
A shop nobody visits doesn’t sell. Every product page gets a title and description written for search. For traffic from day one, there’s digital marketing. For the long run, SEO. Local context is on web design in Fes and web design in Meknes.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an online shop cost?
It’s set in a free quote, based mainly on the number of products, the languages and the payment methods.
How do I get CMI card payments?
Ask your bank for an online payment agreement. We then connect the CMI gateway to your shop and test it before launch.
Can I offer cash on delivery?
Yes, on its own or alongside cards. We add an order confirmation step so fewer parcels get refused.
Can I sell to customers outside Morocco?
Yes. Foreign Visa and Mastercard cards work through CMI, and you’re paid in dirhams. You set your own international shipping rates.
When can the shop open?
Within 15 to 30 days. It depends on how many products there are and how long your bank takes with the CMI application.
