Le Maxime in Troyes: rebuilding a family crêperie’s website

Le Maxime has been serving buckwheat galettes on Place du Marché au Pain since 1989. Its old page lived on a booking platform, broke now and then, and the owners couldn’t change a thing. We built them a site of their own.

In short

Tourak Digital Group rebuilt the website of Le Maxime, a crêperie and brasserie in the historic centre of Troyes, France, open since 1989. The site shows the menu with prices, opening hours (every day, 11:30 to 21:00), real photos and a table booking page. The family updates the menu themselves from a private admin area.

The restaurant

A 17th-century half-timbered building facing the church of Saint-Jean-au-Marché. Same family in the kitchen for more than thirty-five years. Galettes, sweet crêpes and seasonal brasserie dishes, with vegetables and cheese from local producers in the Aube.

What they needed

The old page was a template shared by thousands of restaurants. It crashed at times. Changing a price meant writing to support.

The brief was short. A menu you can read on a phone without zooming. Booking without calling during the rush. And the freedom to edit prices at night, alone.

What we built

  • A home page that shows today’s hours, three house dishes with prices and the booking button.
  • The full menu, sorted by section, one line per dish.
  • A booking page.
  • A gallery of the restaurant’s own photos.
  • An admin area where the family edits the menu and texts.

Local SEO came with it: page titles about Troyes and crêpes, restaurant structured data, details that match the Google listing.

What changes for diners

Someone standing outside can check in ten seconds whether it’s open and what a galette costs. A group planning a birthday books from home. When the menu changes with the season, the website changes too.

Under the hood

Plain PHP, no framework. Dishes and hours sit in JSON files, which is plenty for one restaurant. Hosted by O2Switch in France. Light pages that load on a weak signal. We do the same for cafés and restaurants in Meknes and Fes: see website design.

Frequently asked questions

Can the restaurant update its menu without you?

Yes. Menu, prices and texts are edited from a protected admin area. No call to us needed.

Do you build restaurant websites in Morocco too?

Yes. A café in Meknes or a restaurant in Fes gets the same approach: a menu that reads well on a phone, correct hours, booking or calling in one tap.

A project in Meknes or elsewhere in Morocco?

Tell us about it in a few lines: by phone, on WhatsApp or through the form.
