Tourak Digital Group built the online shop of EZ Gold, a jeweller with stores in Troyes and Dijon selling 14 to 22 carat gold. The WooCommerce shop runs in Turkish, French and English, shows the gold rate and buy-back price per carat, and calculates product prices from the daily rate through a custom plugin.

The client
Two stores, a largely Turkish-speaking clientele (hence Turkish as the default language) and a huge catalogue: letter necklaces, hoops, stone rings, 14-carat bangles, 22-carat sets. Hallmarked, certified, insured delivery.
The difficulty
A gold piece is worth its weight times the market rate, plus craftsmanship, and the rate changes daily. With thousands of products, manual repricing is impossible. Three languages were needed, Turkish first.
What we built
- A WooCommerce shop organised by category.
- A dynamic pricing plugin that recalculates prices from the gold rate.
- A gold rate panel on every page with buy-back prices for 24, 22, 18 and 14 carats.
- Turkish, French and English.
- A navy and gold design that lets the photos breathe.
For customers
Someone preparing a wedding browses 22-carat sets at home, in her language, at today’s price. Someone selling an old bracelet sees the buy-back price at once. Those who prefer to try on know where the two stores are.
For the jeweller, prices follow the market without someone spending the morning correcting them. The gold rate panel stays pinned in a corner of the screen without covering the jewellery.
Stack
WordPress and WooCommerce on O2Switch, plus a plugin written for EZ Gold that ties each price to the gold rate. A jeweller in Meknes or Fes could sell online in dirhams the same way: see e-commerce websites.
